PENGARUH VISUAL AUDIOTORY KINESTETIC (VAK) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS BERBANTUAN APLIKASI CANVA

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on student’s ability to unnderstand mathematical concepts with the helf of the Canva application, at VIII th class students of SMP Swasta IT Adz Dzaki Wal Hadi Pulau Rakyat in 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest research design. The popolation of this study are all students of VIII th class of SMP Swasta IT Adz Dzaki Wal Hadi Pulau Rakyat. Two class are randomli selected to be used as research sampels. VIII-th A consists of 30 studenys as an experimental class taught using the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model, while VIII-th B consists of 30 students as a class taught using a direct learning model, te data obtained in this study are in the form of student’s conceptual comprehension ability scores which are analyzed by uji-t. Based on the results of data analysis, it’s found that the ability to understand student’s concepts taught by Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model assited by the Canva application’s higher than the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students taught by applying the learning model directly.
