DISTRIBUSI LOGAM BERAT (Pb) PADA SEDIMEN DAN ORGAN MANGROVE AVICENNIA MARINA DI PESISIR TIMUR ASAHAN, SUMATERA UTARA

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Logam berat dapat menimbulkan sumber bahan pencemar terhadap lingkungan dan organisme
dengan toksisitasnya yang tinggi dan terakumulasi pada sedimen. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk
menentukan penyerapan logam berat Pb pada mangrove Avicennia marina di Pesisir Timur
Asahan. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di ekosistem mangrove di Pesisir timur Asahan, selama
bulan Agustus - September 2020. Penelitian ini terdapat berdasarkan jenis mangrove Avicennia
marina. Pengambilan sampel sedimen dengan 2 (dua) ulangan dengan kedalaman + 15 cm dan
sampel bagian mangrove meliputi akar dan daun. Analisis logam berat Pb dilakukan di
Laboratorium Saraswanti menggunakan alat ICP MS. Hasil penelitian ini akan mengungkap
perbandingan laju penyerapan logam berat jenis mangrove yang paling efektif adalah sedimen.
