PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN BIBIT CABAI UNGGUL MENGGUNAKAN METODE FMCDM

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Agriculture is an important factor in Indonesia, one of the promising agricultural sectors is chili
farmers. The demand for chilies is getting higher, both for domestic needs and for exports abroad.
Chili is widely used as a spice in cooking, various kinds of medicines and so on. The most popular
chilies are red chilies. Cultivation carried out by chili farmers in rawang village, rawang panca
arga sub-district is planting all kinds of red chilies, and in choosing the chili seeds it is still based
on the instincts and feelings of the farmers themselves so that often the chili harvest is not optimal,
it is not resistant to pests, yields harvest is not optimal, the harvest age is longer so that
maintenance costs increase. With the existing alternatives in the decision support system with the
FMCDM method to choose the best chili seeds. Decision Support System is a specific information
system that is intended to assist management in making decisions related to semi-structured issues.
Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) is a decision-making method that aims to
determine the best alternative decision from a number of alternatives based on certain criteria that
will be taken into consideration. From the results of calculations using the software above, the
result is that the alternative (A1) gets the largest total integral value compared to the other
alternatives.
