Abstract

Community service activities that will be carried out are in the form of educating the community through outreach and education activities to the community about the roles and responsibilities of women to realize independence in the Digital 5.0 era in Desa Sei Balai, Kec.Batu Bara. The targets in this community service activity are local residents, especially women in the village. The implementation of community service was carried out first by counseling in the Asahan University Thematic KKN program in 2022 and then implementing practical assistance from the socialization. Availability of experts from Asahan University lecturers in English Education Study Program and the role of students involved, as well as participants (community), local officials so that this community service activity can be carried out. This community service activity is useful in educating the importance of women's roles and responsibilities in fostering independent families in the development of education and technology in Indonesia, so that people will be smarter in seeing and motivating their families to continue working, especially for women as the backbone of independent families.
