Abstract

Social problems that occur in the City of Tanjungbalai are problems faced by the regional government of the City of Tanjungbalai together with the police of the Tanjungbalai City Police. One of them is the circulation of liquor, which results from the circulation of this liquor which results in criminal acts committed by the public as a result of consuming alcohol. This research is included in the library research (library research) that examines books related to local government such as the Law on alcoholic drinks and other Invitations related to local government and this research also by conducting field research (field research) conducted in Tanjungbalai City Police where the type of research used by the author uses empirical research, in this case the author examines how Legal Compliance. In the Criminal Code (KUHP) states that the criminal act of alcohol is regulated in Article 300, Article 492, and Article 536. Article 300 of the Criminal Code regulates the threat of imprisonment or fines for someone who intentionally sells or gives intoxicating drinks to someone who has been visibly drunk, deliberately drunk a child who is generally not yet sixteen years old, as well as with violence or with the threat of violence deliberately forcing people to drink intoxicating drinks.
