Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Blended Learning Learning Model in terms of Students' Critical Thinking Ability in the Three-Variable Linear Equation System Material in Class X SMA Air Joman Private Regional Academic Year 2021/2022. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were all students of class X MIPA 1 consisting of 24 students. The data collection instruments used included test questions in the form of 5 questions which referred to indicators of students' critical thinking skills including the ability to generalize, the ability to identify, the ability to formulate problems into mathematical models, the ability to deduce using principles and the ability to provide further explanations. The data analysis technique used in this study was assessing the results of students' answers and determining the percentage of students' critical thinking skills scores seen from student answer sheets. It can be explained that there are 17 students who get a complete score, and 7 students get an incomplete score. Mastery in critical thinking skills is a benchmark for determining student success in solving critical thinking skills test questions. The effectiveness of Blended Learning in terms of students' critical thinking skills in the matter of a three-variable linear equation system in class X SMA Air Joman Regional Private School for the 2021/2022 academic year is 71% with the criteria being quite effective
