Abstract

ABSTRACT

Legal protection in the management of plantation waste engaged in the oil palm business determines the compliance of each business entity owner. The owner of an oil palm business entity in producing processed palm oil must comply with the provisions of the law. Environmental Impact Analysis, which is always referred to as AMDAL, is a standard in managing waste that does not have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. Proper waste management will have an impact on the balance of the ecosystem by not damaging other ecosystems. Law enforcement and legal protection need to be a benchmark for the implementation of environmental law protection. The surrounding environment needs to get a protection without any adverse effects from the surrounding environment. Related law enforcement parties need to be the enforcer and guardian of the implementation of a waste management. Without good environmental management, this can have an impact on environmental sustainability.
