VISUALISASI BUDAYA BERKEARIFAN LOKAL DI KABUPATEN ASAHAN DI ERA PANDEMI COVID 19 SEBUAH KAJIAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF ANTROPOLINGUISTIK

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research was aimed at finding and recovering cultural patterns. The cultural patterns may be in the earlier and newly found due to the effect of covid 19 in the context of culture in Asahan Regency. The problems of this research are (1) Does the social community haves knowledge of cultural patterns?, (2) Do the people have an awareness of how cultural forms  are dismissed, remained or even developed in the era of new norm. This research was based on qualitative approach towards any renewed cultural pattern raised  due to the pandemic covid 19 that was observed through linguistic anthropology and anthropological linguistics. Some preliminary data observed and found due to the era of new norm were that people kept distancing among the crowd, they kept washing hand either using hand sanitizer or soap, and they kept wearing mask. This research would then develop and generate the implementation of social life in intercommunicating using language on the basis of both linguistic anthropology and anthropological linguistics. The significances of the research were (1) as basic and strong  argumentation that the changes in cultural living pattern has been on going, (2) as basic and strong understanding especially for the local government to review and arise new rules in a better official and legal system of patternized culture due to pandemic covid 19. Interface approach in a Linguistics and culture that is in terms of linguistic antropology is a scientific approach in oever viewing this research. This research approach refers to Hyter dan Salas Pevance (2019) and  Sibarani (2015). Therefore this research would do something beneficial either to the locl government or researchers in making new regulation officially legalized by the local government in the era of new norm.
