Abstract

ABSTRACT

A good series of learning should be continuous, and there is also an evaluation of learning theories that have been discussed in lectures that take place every meeting, especially lectures that are practical or require practice such as lectures on broadcasting techniques. In an effort to improve proper Indonesian language skills and be able to adapt to the social conditions of the user community, then based on these situations and conditions the language also develops and has new terms that need to be known and even socialized for their proper use, then the online learning system (online) based on social media can be used as an alternative after being required by the government to learn from home when the covid-19 pandemic also hit Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Indonesian language conceptualized by students on broadcasting practices through social media-based videos with a qualitative descriptive method. The data analysis technique used the observation and note technique. The results obtained are the use of covid-19 terms that are more familiar with the use of foreign terms, rather than the use of equivalent words into Indonesian. In the first stage, of the 24 data studied, only 13 data that were still active on social media were used, and in the second stage only 5 data chose the covid-19 theme, and the concept of Indonesian was also in accordance with broadcasting techniques, as well as the terms the term covid-19 used into Indonesian is also better and more precise.
