ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PERSAMAAN LINEAR

Abstract


ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical problem solving abilities in solving linear equations in class X. The analysis was carried out based on indicators of mathematical problem solving. Qualitative data analysis through 3 channels, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The researcher send a problem-solving ability test from the WhatsApp group and ask students to work on the question and send a selfie of the answer sheet they have worked on and analyze it according to the problem solving ability indicator. After that, the researcher will analyze how the students' mathematical problem-solving abilities during online learning. The problem solving indicators referred to in this study are: (1) Understanding the problem. (2) Determine the model to solve the problem (3) Solve the problem (4) Check again. The results of this study were obtained from a total of 25 research subjects, there were 7 students in the high score category with a percentage of 28%, 11 students in the moderate value category with a percentage of 44%, and 7 students in the low score category with a percentage of 28%.
