PEMANFAATAN SOSIAL MEDIA SEBAGAI PENGEMBANGAN JIWA PEBISNIS DI KALANGAN REMAJA DESA SUKA MAKMUR KECAMATAN PULO BANDRING KABUPATEN ASAHAN

Abstract


Youths today are the millennial generation whose activities have been supported by technological advances. Today's Youths often access social media only as a medium of communication, update status, make friends. Teens who live in Suka Makmur village dominate using Facebook and WhatsApp, there are several other social media that have not been touched for use. Utilization of social media, of course, if done optimally, can be an opportunity to develop an entrepreneurial spirit. To become a reliable businessman, of course, entrepreneurial knowledge is needed for adolescents. There are a lot of potentials of teenagers that have not been optimally practiced. With the existence of smart phones owned by teenagers, of course they can use them optimally, namely making them an online marketing medium to develop the spirit of business people among teenagers. This service activity provides knowledge about the use of social media among adolescents in Suka Makmur village. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can change the mindset of adolescents to be creative, innovative and productive by helping the community, especially business actors in Suka Makmur village, to sell their businesses online as a form of maximizing social media use.
