MENGAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS BAGI YOUNG LEARNERS DENGAN FUN ACTIVITIES

Abstract


The need for variation in teaching English to PAUD students at Pesantren An Ni'mah Asahan is the background of this dedication, because so far teachers are still teaching English with a limited learning model. The teacher only lectures and explains which in the end their teaching looks monotonous. Therefore, teachers must have various learning models that are useful for increasing vocabulary in English. It was concluded that teaching for young learners using fun activities, teaching English can attract students' attention so as to increase student motivation and interest in learning English. Not only students but also teachers who received this training became more confident in teaching and of course more motivated. The stages of activity are starting from the preparation stage and the implementation stage. By implementing fun activities, teachers are given the opportunity to practice directly teaching English in front of the class.
