Abstract


This research’s motivated by the low mathematical reasoning abilities students of SMP Negeri 1 Aek Ledong. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of the application Brain Based Learning learning Model by Canva on the mathematical reasoning abilities at VII th Class students of SMP Niegieri 1 Aiek Liedong in 2023/2024 Acadiemic Yiear. This typie of riesiearch is a quasi iexpierimient with a two group prie-tiest and post-tiest riesiearch diesign. Thie population arie all VII th class studients which consists of 5 classies. Thie riesiearch samplie consists of 2 classies, namiely VIIth -B and VIIth - iE class which arie takien using purposivie sampling. Thie subjiects in this riesiearch arie studients of VIIth -B class as an iexpierimiental class using thie Brain Basied Liearning Miethod and VIIth-iE Class as a control class using thie iExpository Miethod. Thie matierial usied in this riesiearch is fieasiblie comparison and rieturn valuie. Aftier complieting thie liearning, a post-tiest’s givien with an avieragie riesult of thie iexpierimiental class 84.75 and thie control class
